A Peek from the Beginning...

Welcome to my blog! Lately I've been an (ultra) slight stalker to many of my friends blogs. I don't know about you, but I'm a people watcher...put me in an airport, and I will stare at people all day long. I always feel a bit guilty doing it, but you just can't help yourself. With that said...go ahead and feel free to peek through our window! I think blogging is the ultimate way to people watch so I figured we would open our doors to the public and "give back" this year for all the times I've looked at others. I love seeing how other people fill up their day, and seeing how creative all of my friends out there are, so I will continue to steal their ideas and try to come up with a couple of my own!

I will wait to put this blog for everyone to see because I hate when someone starts a blog and only has one post on it (I told you I like to stalk...I need material people!) so we'll start from the very beginning, and by the time this goes up, maybe I will have gotten to some more present stories.

For the three people reading this blog, you probably already know the finer details of my life, but I told you we're starting from the beginning so I'll pretend you've forgotten and share away...

I met my amazing, precious, perfect, loving, wonderful, HOTT husband in k-4. I was actually in Mrs. Poynter's class with his twin brother, Brent, and we don't remember anything about each other (I remember Brent was so quiet), but the first Christmas we were dating I looked on his Christmas tree and said "HEY! I have that exact same ornament I made in k-4!!"...and sure enough when we turned it around it said "Blake k-4"...and that's when we realized we'd been together all our life, but never knew it. We reacquainted in middle school when two of my best friends (and bridesmaids!) "dated" him...hello Squirt and Britt! We then went to the same high school for two years, but really didn't pay any attention to the other. Finally my senior year in college, on December 21st all of my best girlfriends went out for my 22nd birthday for a girls night out.

And what started as this...

Turned into this...

And then we had a big celebration to make us an "us"...

But then we decided our family was not done yet, so we added a baby...

Even though some had a harder time than others...(ahem..Tucker)

But don't worry, they warmed up to each other pretty quickly...

And that's the story of how we turned into a Mr. and a Mrs. and then from Newlyweds into Parents :)
